Captain Grantley Moore has lived in Southeast Alaska most of his life. His enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge of the surrounding areas are what make his charters exceptional.
Captain Grant and his team are locally raised and know the ins and outs of Juneau for the greatest whale watching, sightseeing, and sport fishing adventures. He has an eagle eye when spotting whales, and his favorite phrase is “FISH ON!”

For Captain Cliff, the sea is more than just a workplace – it's a lifelong passion. His journey began on the shores of Cape Cod, where he honed his skills as a young fisherman and sailor. Since then, he's explored the world's oceans, from the vibrant Caribbean to the rugged Alaskan coast, gaining extensive experience in marine construction, dredging, and captaining a variety of vessels. Now, he shares his love for fishing and adventure with guests aboard Juneau Charters, creating memorable experiences filled with exciting catches, fascinating stories, and a deep appreciation for the marine world.

Captain Ben grew up in Iowa, on the banks of the Mississippi River, where his love of the water was born. After years of the land locked life Colorado then Fairbanks, Alaska. He and his wife moved to Juneau in 2010 and fell in love with life on the water again. Ben has been a freelance photographer for over twenty years, and is fortunate to have been able to see many corners of the state. But few things make him happier than sharing abundance of Southeast Alaska with guests from all over the world.

Captain Mike has been fishing his whole life and rarely misses a day on the water. He has worked in the maritime industry since 2016. Originally from Florida, Captain Mike started fishing in southeast Alaska in 2022 and has been hooked ever since. He loves fishing during his downtime, but his favorite is watching guests reel in the good ones!

Experience the Alaskan wilderness with Captain Casey, a marine biologist turned expert fishing guide. His journey began at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, where he earned his master's degree. But the classroom couldn't contain his curiosity for long. He embarked on a global adventure with Sea|Mester, teaching marine biology and SCUBA diving while sailing the world aboard majestic schooners.
Now, with Juneau Charters, he shares his deep knowledge and passion with guests, leading unforgettable fishing excursions in the breathtaking waters of Juneau. Captain Casey doesn't just help you reel in the big one; he unlocks the secrets of the marine ecosystem, from the elusive salmon and halibut to the majestic whales and playful sea lions. And his commitment to marine life extends beyond the charter season – he spends his off-season as an aquarium curator at the local NOAA laboratory.
