It was nice to get out on the water today and go whale watching here in Juneau Alaska!  Even in the rain and sunshine!

Captain Tyler and his buddies Nick, Mow, and Jack went out fishing for winter kings today and they had a blast even in the cold, windy, sunny day!

The halibut fishing has been spectacular this season. We’re also reeling in some great salmon like this one Jackie caught. Let’s go fishing!

Shirley was very happy and tired from her halibut fishing trip with us. She and her group had a fun time sport fishing, and we had a blast too! What a fantastic day!

Juneau is one of the best places to see whales. Humpback whales come here each summer to eat and play. On occasion we are treated to a visit from Orcas as well as sea lions. Juneau is definitely the place to enjoy marine wildlife!

Spring weather in Juneau is unusual:  rain, sunshine, chilly temps, and occasionally snow are in the forecast.  Today we woke up to a few inches of the white stuff.  But that doesn’t slow us down.   Boats are equipped with heaters and hot coffee to keep you warm while we wait to exclaim “Fish on!”  Sport fishing and whale watching…

My new adopted grandpa, Theodore, caught this beautiful coho yesterday!  Thanks for coming on board Theodore, and thanks for serving our country in WWII.  You are a true hero!  

Jordan had a great time catching this 12 pound coho! The weather is sunny and the bite is on!      

Guests on Eclipse had a great day at sea catching some delicious halibut.  Fishing for halibut, rock fish and salmon is what we love to do! Yep fellas, it was definitely FISH ON!
